We have a new member for the artsy-craftsy march :) ... Please welcome S. Here is what she says.
Hi,
My name is S. I am a crazy follower of your blog and God knows how many of your arts and crafts I have tried with my kids. The world is so small and one day I would definitely like to
meet you. You are very creative and I really appreciate your efforts in
bringing others creativity out too.
For March Artsy-CraftsyI would like to post a couple of entries that I did with
my almost 5 year old. I have two boys one 2.3 years old and another
4.10 years old . My younger one is often the one who sits and does most
of the art work but this time I was not that lucky he refused to sit down. For
a change the older one had fun and he went crazy!!!
Here are a few details about the artworks
1. The first work was done by my son all by himself with just a little
suggestions here and there. The faces for the family members are thumb prints
and we used black yarn for the hair. He decided to put on different costumes
for each of us. And in all his work he never fails to include our apartment.
So its right there next to us. He has also been riding his bike lately without
his training wheels and that has become an achievement. So thats there on top
of his head. He had a blast doing this artwork.

2. The next one is our family's dream to fly in the air or more specifically do
para gliding in Goa. Parachutes, aeroplane, and the family figures are simple
paper cut outs. Soorya painted the sky with water colors, and colored the
parachutes, the plane and the figures with crayons.
Thanks for giving such a wonderful opportunity and I hope to follow your blog
for years to come. Keep up the good work.
Thank you S for this lovely email. People like you do keep me going and it sure made my day.
